Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any service provided by Plutonodes ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
These terms apply to all users, including those on free and paid plans. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Section 02
Services
Plutonodes provides game server hosting infrastructure, including but not limited to server provisioning, management panels, storage, and network connectivity. Services are provided on a best-effort basis unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time, with reasonable notice where possible. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.
Section 03
Accounts
To use our services, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and current information during registration
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use our services.
Each person may maintain one free account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent resource limits is not permitted.
Section 04
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Host, transmit, or distribute illegal content of any kind
- Launch DDoS attacks, port scans, or any form of network abuse
- Mine cryptocurrency or run non-game-server workloads
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or third parties
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to access other users' servers or data without authorisation
- Resell or sublease server resources without prior written permission
We monitor for abuse and reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.
Resource usage: Free plan servers are subject to fair use limits. Consistently high CPU or RAM usage that impacts other users may result in throttling or a request to upgrade.
Section 05
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload, store, or transmit through our services, including game world data, configuration files, and plugins. By using our services, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We are not liable for content stored on your server.
Section 06
Payment & Billing
Plutonodes offers both free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are listed in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable VAT.
- Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid plan purchases. After this period, payments are non-refundable.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your paid plan at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. After two failed attempts, your plan may be downgraded to the free tier.
Section 07
Availability & Uptime
We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime across all nodes. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances outside our control, including upstream network issues, hardware failures, or force majeure events.
Backups are provided as a convenience feature and should not be relied upon as your sole means of data protection. We recommend keeping your own local copies of important data.
Section 08
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the panel. Upon deletion, your servers and associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in activity that harms other users or our infrastructure
- Provide false information during registration
- Fail to pay for a paid plan after reasonable notice
In cases of severe violation (e.g. illegal activity, network abuse), termination will be immediate and data may be deleted without recovery.
Section 09
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plutonodes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or service interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Section 10
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users via email or an in-panel notice.
Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using our services and may cancel your account.
